Description

When I offered to make a Christmas Sock for Elsbeth, I was reminded that her brother had always used an 'extra' and never had a sock of his own.  Oops, Bad Nana. I had to search Pinterest for the inspiration, using the basic shape and construction as the one for his baby sister. He was born in 2008 and that date is in the center of the red plus.

Front and back are finished and lining attached, waiting for the printed name piece to be added and for final assembly.

Yes, very bad Nana for not making it sooner! I hadn't made one for my granddaughter who was born in 2010 until last year flushed

At least I've wised up and gotten the ones done for the other 3 in a timely manner. (Although, number 4 is ready to pop out ANY DAY now and I sure hope she is here before the 25th!)

I love the shaping of the stocking with the gentle curve on the back of the calf,

So darling!! Love the plus sign pattern you went with.I need to make new stockings for all the kids but it will have to be for next Christmas. What pattern did you use?

Mymble

Really great- love the shape- big enough to get some wonderful little treats in the toe- including the orange;))))

Terryt1955 Pattern is at the link, though I got it from the print magazine. Alert: There are only 3 designs in the magazine and digital pattern, not 8 as it says.

I haven't heard of a Thaddaeus since high school. He was like the coolest guy ever! And the stocking isn't bad either!
