Description

I've had Microwaveable Bowls on my Bucket List for months and just never took the time to do them.  Today I was home with presents all stitched and packaged up ready to mail and wanted a small project.  Microwaveable Bowls, yes!

I followed a tutorial I found on Kathy's Tamarackshack blog which I'll link to below.

The directions are clear and these bowls go together quickly and easily.  The biggest thing to remember:
ONLY USE COTTON FABRIC, BATTING and THREAD as they will go in the microwave and get hot.

I was only going to make one the three sizes Kathy offers but they went together so quickly and I had pulled a fabric out of my stash that was big enough to do all three so I have all three!

These would make gifts for our friends and family.

So clever... and what a great gift!

I purchased a kit for this cute bowl in South Carolina. It was made with carrot fabric. Love it,; keeps my hands from burning or freezing when I eat ice cream. Thanks for posting.

Sorry I didn't put the link in correctly, ladies, but if you click on that it will get you to Tamarack Shack and you then just type in "microwaveable bowls" and you'll find it.
