OMG how cute! I love this!!!
Oh he is darling!!!! So great!
He is so cute! I love the star in his pocket!
He is so cute and it looks like there are some delicate pieces you had to cut. Very nice job! You know if you're looking for a good home for him I know of a great place in Iowa...
HawkFan you never know where he will end up;-) It was really easy to cut out...I have some special scissors I use for this kind of thing and they make it so simple.
The fabric for the beard is PERFECT!
I love him!!! Look at his jolly skipping legs!! I don't think I've ever seen such an energetic Santa ;) how nice you were sent the pattern for free! Crafters are so nice :)
I love this whimsical style!
I love this- so so fun-and the fabrics you are using are wonderful.
Mymble thank you...I got some charm packs at one of Green Fairy's sales and reds were part of it....loved how they worked. Plan to use other fabrics from it for border and backing!
How fun! Your pillow is adorable!
This is SO cute, Mary. And I love how you made the back so you can flip it over and keep using it through the winter months. A bright, fun, cheerful pillow! Awesome!
Caribousmom thank you... I knew those charm packs I got on sale would come in handy! This really was so fun and the midwinter reds collection has some great fabric!
Super finish...I just love everything about it Mary...and making the back as you did...brilliant!
Mymble thank you so much... I started on back last night and did not like what I had pulled even though "went" with fabrics. So slept on it and woke up with a plan! And I like it a lot better than where I was last night. Have to say if I have learned anything in last few years it is not to force things...walk away and give it a chance to come together:)
Yep got a spot all picked out for it ;-)
I still think this is just too cute! Love what you did with it.
True...this is just THE cutest!!l. Love the whimsical design and the great fabric choices you made. So adorable.
Don't know how I missed this little cutie! Love the deeper reds against the tan background. It really shows off St Nick! Is the background fabric from the same line? Somehow I missed it when I was buying from this line or I would have stocked up on it. What great neutral fabric!
And what are these special scissors you were referring to? I know I couldn't cut out such fine delicate pieces with the ones I have!
Conniharns thank you!! I just think he is so cute and the fact it was fun makes it all the better!!
Terryt1955 thank you! The back ground is not from same collection. I bought a bunch of neutrals/tan fabric on sale a little while ago just to have on hand and it came from that bunch. I do not have name or would give it to you. When I do a table runner I bought the cream polka dot from this collection to use. I will try to find scissors I use online and post...
Terryt1955 I cannot find the ones I have but know I got them at Joann's @6 years ago and think they were for scrap booking. Since I have never done that hobby someone must have suggested them to me. These are similar http://www.joann.com/fiskars-softouch-micro-tip-scissors/2471332.html
He is wonderful - thanks for sharing.
I love happy, jumping Christmas images and this one is adorable. You did a fabulous job and the colors are fantastic.
Thanks True for the link. I have pinned them for the next time I go to Joann's. I've seen them plenty of times but didn't know it they worked or not.You know, all these new fandangled things can be great or just a gimmick!
Terryt1955 I so agree...it is so hard to know what helps and what is just useless. Again these are different than mine but mine rock!
True , can you take a picture of yours sometime. I'm wondering if yours are the ones that my LQS carries. They weren't a Fiskar brand but they worked on the same principal.
Terryt1955 just sent to you and in process found name and here they are http://www.amazon.com/Studios-2-Inch-Kushgrip-Spring-Cut-Scissors/dp/B000YZ7NYM
adorable!! i love it!!
Thanks Mary, I just ordered them! Can't wait to add it to my sewing basket! And of course to use them...
I just love this! Such a happy Santa.
