Yay! It is wonderful!!!! SO love that fabric - and my address just may be in your pillow (yes it is in the fabric with the address!!!) This looks so great. I was afraid of curves too until I actually tried them. Nothing to it, right!?!?!?
BY the way, there is now a way to add the pillow pop sew along button to these projects - scroll to the bottom of the edit page and use the drop down menu to find it :)
Really super- Road 15 was perfect for this...you did a great job!
Another great pillow!!
Caribousmom Thanks! I really love how it turned out. I'm so happy I tried this one...that's really cool about your address...Your like the only celebrity I know.
Wonderful fabric for this project! Looks great! I have a couple charm packs of Road 15 set aside for the 'Baby Love' churn dash in Siply Retro. Wow, Caribousmom - someone who got their address in the fabric! I didn't know.
OMG this fabric is so perfect!!!!! Love it...and I too was afraid of curves until made a quilt with them and found they are not hard at all...cutting them out is a pain IMHO.
Great call on the fabrics. Love the pillow!! You did a beautiful job
PS I love the name you gave your pillow project
This is lovely; I definitely like the combination of colors. Guess I need to take a photo of mine and get it on here!
Carolmarie Way back before the fabric was designed, Sweetwater asked people to send them their street addresses. I don't know how many they got (I'm thinking a lot) and they used those addresses in the fabric. I had no idea they would use mine - but when the fabric came out, I found it there!!! Cool, right?
I am with everyone else, just love the fabric you used. Your curves are great. Gee, I better at least pick my fabric. Feeling behind with this group already. hehehehe. Now I am leaning towards doing this pillow because of how great they look.
nice job on the curves and I love the fabric selection. Great pillow.
Love your pillow and the fabric you chose. I have my fabric all across my sewing room floor trying to decide, and think you have provided some inspiration. I agree it looks great without the binding :-)
Wow. You pillow looks fantastic and I love your fabric.
Sewhappy I think I got some mental inspiration from a circle quilt I loved on Pinterest done in little apples fabric (http://blueisbleu.blogspot.com/2012/04/little-apples-circle-quilt.html) I'm pretty sure that's what made me dream of sewing it in Road 15 since they have a similar color palette.
Capetowngirl Seeneed Thanks Ladies, so happy with how it turned out!!!!
Quilt455 I wasn't going to do this pillow originally I was going to do the metro, but I just loved how everyone's was turning out. Glad I tried it.
Cute cute cute!!! And congrats on conquering the curve! I actually like the bindless version as it gives it a more modern flare. I see many pillows in your future. Happy dreaming!!
This came out so great in this fabric! It almost looks like little winding streets and parks!
I love this pillow, and these fabrics worked wonderfully for it! Great job. I still have not decided which pillow I want to make.
Love it great finish. I have cut out my pattern and can't wait to get started. I love Road 15 one of my favorite lines :-)
Sorry - a bit dim here - I've only just found this. What a great choice of fabric - the same as what I used! :-)
forkandneedle yep we chose the same fabric for our gumdrop pillows lol, but it's a great fabric. They both looked very differnt, and I actually liked the way yours turned out much better.
You used a greater variety of fabrics and I like that! I was being a bit tight with mine and trying to get both pieces out of a layer cake slice. :-)
