Description

After making the Gumdrop pillow as part of the Pillow Pop Sew Along, I decided to make a baby quilt using the same drunkards path block and a stashed layer cake of Panache. Cutting was a breeze with my new Accuquilt die.  The tutorial for a larger quilt by Crazy Mom Quilts was helpful in many ways.

In order to make three circles across and four down, I added in one brown tonal print and two cream prints.  Scraps from the cutting will make an outer border, after an off-white inner border is added.

I love those...great fabric and I bet the accuquilt makes the cutting so much easier for this pattern!

So cute! Do you have the baby Go or the full sized one? Glad to see you're getting use out of the dies and making such a cute baby quilt. I see more in the horizon for you!

Terryt1955 I have the regular GO (full sized) and have used it mostly for strips of various widths until now. I did cut fabric for a tumbler quilt but have not finished it, and I cut some 60 degree triangles that I have in a box. And lots of squares for my plus quilt (also a ufo)

Readerowl Ohh, if you have a full sized one that means it fits the Winding Ways die. I'm jealous! I debated long and hard and ended up with the Baby Go and I'm embarrassed to admit I haven't used it. Bad me!
