Description

Hahaha, I never saw where it said 'enlarge 200%' until it was too late and I'd already cut my fabric ! Ah well, I still stitched up the small pieces and ended up with a small Gumdroppy pillowtop. I'm now waiting for the extra small pillow insert to arrive. The result will be posted soon....

True Thank you !

I tried doing this without enlarging it as a practice and my blocks were so distorted. Yours look great! Love your colors too!

brodeusebressane

Terryt1955 thank you ! I found it easier than I thought when I looked at those small pieces of fabric.... The easiest were the fabrics that were a bit stiff, so maybe if you could spray-stiffen your fabric, it would be easier. I wish I had done that with the gingham in the top right corner, it's a bit wonky, because the fabric is very thin and floppy....

Ahh, spray starch. It does fix a lot of problems and yet I forget to always use it. I hate how it gums up the ironing board and turns the cover a dirty mess!

brodeusebressane

Terryt1955 than spray the back side and iron the front, while the back rests on a towel.... (It seems I'm full of tips and tricks today)
