Mymble is the February Queen for the thread divas. She requested log cabin trees, in colors representing our favorite season. This is my first attempt aka test block. I love Fall and so I used fall colored batiks. I think for the actual block I will do a summer or spring tree since she said she didn't have a lot of green fabric in her stash.
I finally got around to doing another tree for the Queen. I thought I would do a nice summer tree and I carved my initials in the trunk for her.
Wow - this really represents fall - it's beautiful! You even used leaf fabrics. So creative!!
very pretty colors; it looks like Autumn. Nicely done.
Skynme ..I love the colors ...beautiful batiks...really autumn...test block or not- this is gorgeous...you really don't have to do another block...unless you just can't resist;)))))...but I am loving this one! Thank you so much!
Mymble I'm so happy you like it! I will probably do one more just in case. Plus this was a fun block to do. You are going to have a lovely wall hanging.
