I think this turned out lovely! Cant wait to see the big finish.
This is beautiful. I love the richness of your fabrics. Really nice.
I agree with Carol. How do you get so much done?! If Wendy is Turbo then you should be called NOS! Love the fabrics you chose and that blue looks like you used a different fabric for each HST. Reminds me of those stack & whack quilts that seem like you're using multiple prints when in actuality you aren't. I think you're getting a lot of use out of the Block-Loc ruler!
Terryt1955 LOL and I have been thanking you in my head a lot these past few weeks as that ruler has made both this pillow front and the quilt I am working in at same time so much easier to do! And the HST's are so exact one squares up with it. Thank you again for telling me about it:-)
Mary, this is so beautiful! Love your interpretation of this pillow...can't wait to see it all done. (damn those elves - they told me they were going on vacation, but I see they've been helping you in Maine!!!)
Caribousmom thank you...damn now you know where the elves have gotten to... I hope to quilt it tomorrow but we shall see what the day brings!
This turned out very nice.
Beautiful! And could you tell those elves to make a stop over in NY on the way back to Wendy's house?
Such beautiful fabrics. This looks so elegant!
Just beautiful; what a great intrepretation, True ! Love all the color in that pillow.
You would think those damn elves would have stopped at my house first since I'm only 4 hours from Caribousmom . But oh no, they had to go clear across the country to you house. I think they might be a tad mischievous don't you? Perhaps they're related to those elves-on-a shelf group....
This came out so great, True ! Love those colours and your border and binding choices and those cute little birdies on the back!!
Quilterinmotion thank you it should go very well in my office as the colors are exactly what is there...tomorrow we shall see:-)
Terryt1955 LOL elves must like longer trips or maybe they needed to cool off;-) And I think they are the smarter cousin of that other elf!
Joke thank you...the colors in the pictures of the finished pillow are not great as it was dark out here but I do love this fabric and especially those little birds!
The colors look lovely in that chair.
Absolutely gorgeous True - love the colors and the back is great- really wonderful fabric choices and you did such a great job with the hst's. Now I'll skip the elves ( I hear they need copious amounts of food and drink) if I can have some EQT 's ( emergency quilt technicians ) to get caught up!
Stunning. I love your rich colour choices
Love this one. Such pretty fabrics you used. Is it's new home at your office?
This is so lovely, I love the rich colours and batiks. Very inspiring and it has given me some ideas, as I have yet to start my Chevron pillow.
Sewhappy thanks so much... And just an FYI none of those are batiks (although I love batiks) just the way they look in picture I guess. Enjoy making yours and cannot wait to see it.
Lovely cushion - you've inspired me with the colours!
