Description

My first zippers!  It was definitely worse in my head than the reality.  Great tutorial from Michelle!  I followed the steps exactly as outlined, no modifications.  These are the smaller pouches which are considered more difficult but I didn't experience any issues.  Great first zippered pouch project!

I did use the zipper foot and top stitch foot which helped a lot!

so cute! Great first zipper! I have done a few zippers on pillow backs but never on bags or pouches. This looks adorable!

HawkFan

These are so cute and you did a beautiful job. Love the fabric!

True

These are so cute...and congrats on zippers we really do make them worse in our heads then they are in reality...I thank my home ec teachers for that...

MoulinRogue

Lovely!

Charwirfs

I love these, especially the fabric. I want to make these, but I am terrified of the zipper, so Thank you for the encouragement. I am signed up for a class and that should help too.

Charwirfs Do give it a try - I wish I had tried earlier!

MoulinRogue Thank you!

True I definitely wish I had tried earlier. Now I'm encouraged to start making those pouches that I have pinned!

HawkFan Thank you! The fabric was a handed down scrap but I love it too!

cally68 It was super easy! I've never tried making a pillow before but that is also on my "list" of sewing things to do!

First zipper??!! You're a natural! And I do love Michelle's patterns- I've made many of her things, and have lots more on my to-do list!
Keep up the great work - I can't wait to see what else you come up with! smile smile smile

EJcrew

I love these. They would make a great cosmetic bag. Where can I find the pattern?
