oooooh, so pretty, Terry! Love the fabrics you chose!
Love this block and I so agree that this one is now on my to do list!
Caribousmom , Thanks!! I think half the fun of this block was digging around in one's stash and finding out just how many prints you have in one colorway. It definitely points out what colors you buy a lot of!
True You have so many wonderful star quilts already but I definitely think this block is a keeper. I like how you can control the wonkliness and make stars that look so great yet with a minimum of effort.
Terryt1955 as you know I do not do wonky very well (I even tried for Audrey and mine still aren't very wonky!) But this is my go to way to make stars as it is so easy and yes you can control how they look. Well unless you are me and then you cannot make them wonky even when trying;-) (and thank you for compliment about my quilts...one cannot have too many stars;-)
Oh Terry I LOVE the colors and fabrics!! This will go so well with the others coming my way. Now I just have to wipe this goofy smile off my face. I'm glad you had fun with this. Looking forward to what you decide to make with this block
HawkFan Glad you love it. I think I'm just as excited as you seeing all these beautiful blocks come in.
Cute, cute, cute; even if it is orange. hehehe Love the little leaf fabric. Hey, two weeks!!!
Awesome purple block!!!
I wanted to do a purple block so badly, but I didn't have enough purple fabrics. I love your block!!
Quilt455 It does look orange but only because I took it at night. Not that I didn't think about making an orange one. I actually have a wide collection of that color thanks to Wendy's conversion! This one is a golden yellow...
Terryt1955 I cant right now, I am still on budget restriction for fabric....its awful! It makes me sad when I see all of the beautiful fabric I want to buy...hopefully very soon I will be able to start buying again.
Miss Terry, I love the purple dots in your star. I knew purple is your color.
OK, I saw your project and the purple star and I thought I'd lost my mind. I would have sworn you'd made a yellow-orange star. Then I read further and realized you'd made another one! Wow I'm so lucky to have such fantastic bee mates! I'm a big fan of purple!!
Both of these are great!
Love that purple one, Terry - and it is only fitting since you love that color so much! I thought about purple, but my scraps are pretty slim in that colorway!
Oh yeah, I'm making your Nutella trifles today for Sunday dinner!
Well I know already that I made the brownies too thick so we will all go into insulin shock! I'll have it perfected by March 14th.
Okay there's rich and then there's RICH.This is the perfect recipe for the chocolate junkie. It needs either a pot of tea or a pitcher of milk to accompany it but oh so good!
Terryt1955 These are the kind of recipes I "share" with my book club. I want to try them out but don't want a bazillion calories hanging out at my house with just me and hubby. They all know their low-cal, low-carb diets will get a break for the evening
HawkFan For sure you can't leave these hanging around the refrigerator! But they were very good indeed! Thanks for the recipe and I think I'll be repeating it for when I go to Wendy's house.
