Fun! Lots of great colors to play off of

Charwirfs

HawkFan that was exactly what I was thinking. I hope my new Improvi group has fun with it.

sew_what

How fun! The fabrics have a bright, spontaneous feel.

Charwirfs

Thank you sew_what . I am glad you like it. I hope it continues to inspire spontaneity as it makes it through the Robin hive. I would love it if my friends try something new for them. I learned how to layer curved pieces with a finished edge. Normally I would have left the edges raw.

Mymble

Awesome- this will be so fun to work with!

Joke

Can't wait to receive this! I have a couple of ideas on what to do!

Charwirfs

I am pleased you like it. Enjoy!

Seeneed

OHH, I absolutely love the French girl on the bike. I want it!!!!! Can hardly wait to see where this goes.

Charwirfs

Me too Seeneed . This is the second Improvi-Robin for me. I really liked what happened on my first one, which I am finishing now. It comes back to me in Oct. Maybe pics will get posted as it goes along. Thank you for your comment.

Quilterinmotion

Charwirfs , this is an awesome block with so many possibilities for your fellow "robins". That French biker is a sweet piece of fabric and the curves.....ooh-la-la!

Charwirfs

Thank you Quilterinmotion for your lovely comments. I wish you were adding to this. I really enjoyed looking forward to all you additions in the last Improvi-Robin round. Have you finished your WIP yet? I am starting work on mine after I return from playing with my grand kids over Spring Break.

Quilterinmotion

Charwirfs , I haven't finished my WIP. I'm going to quilt it and add only the binding as it is about as large as I have space for on my one blank wall in the RV. I love it as it is so there's no need for any additions by me. Just haven't found the time to do it.. May be a summer project as I have two larger quilts that need sandwiching and quilting which I should do while I'm where I can lay them out to pin them. Have fun with your Grandies! Can't wait to see my boy in May.

Ohhh my wheels are turning. This looks like a fun one to work with!

Joke

I really like the fabrics you're using! Are they batiks? I think I need to get some, they're so pretty!

Aizome

Love your French biker babe!!!! That is so cute! Should be inspiring.

Charwirfs

Thank you Aizome . Joke just posted a pic of her with the first round completed. I love what she did. I just realized I left out a fabric on the sneak peak pic I posted for Mymble's starter. There should be some golden yellow mixed in with all that orange. I will be posting a pic soon of the finished round one.

Mymble

Charwirfs ah ha...posting it over here...that's right...build the suspense...drive me crazy...quite alright;))))...gorgeous oranges by the way:)

Charwirfs

Mymble Hi there! Glad you like the oranges. Looks like a lot of orange huh? Actually there is a golden yellow fabric in the mix which was left out of the photo. I tried several times to post on the thread. Sometimes that works for me, but not this time. So if you don't find it one place, always check out the possibilities. I just try to keep up with it all and some days are better than others!

Mymble

Charwirfs wonderful fabrics:)...and the yellow sounds delicious...can't wait to see what you do with these lovelies!
